The stars were out last night at the Essence Black Women in Music event where the Lady of Hip Hop and Soul, Mary J. Blige was honored. Everyone from Gabrielle Union to Taraji Henson was in attendance. So many pretty faces, yet so many make-up faux pas.
Let’s begin critiquing:
Let’s begin with the Lady of Honors, MJB – As always, Mary looked absolutely stunning…flawless! Champagne color on the lids, smoky lined eyes and nude lips that didn’t upend her red dress. Love her brows!
Gabrielle Union – Such a pretty face, but too heavy with the dark eyebrows
NeNe (Housewives of ATL) – Rocked the gray shadow with nude lips…very dramatic
Liked that look better on Tatyana Ali She rocked a softer look. FABULOUS!
Joy Bryant – All I can say is “where is your make-up glam girl??!!!”
Taraji Henson- I love the red lips…can’t say much about the dress though
